100 Things

100 Things to do Before I Die

One day I decided that I was going to create myself a list. It all began when I got to visit Barcelona AND San Francisco within the same year (the same summer in fact). It was a dream come true, a dream I’d had for about seven years. Fulfilling these dreams made me think about the great things in the world. Some people dream of jumping out of aeroplanes, others hope to travel the world. I’m not the kind of person that has dreams of grandeur or extreme sports. I don’t care much for travelling the majority of the world, the thought of jumping out of a plane petrifies me and I revel more in the little things. Which is why you won’t find many extreme/crazy/’are you mad?’ things on my list. But that doesn’t make it any less wonderful to be able to tick things off.

  1. Currently Completed:

    1. Go to Barcelona [visited in 2008]

    2. Go to San Francisco [visited in 2008]

    29. Save a life (doesn’t have to be physically) [a friend of mine told me in 2010 that I had saved her life]

    42. See a West End or Broadway show [saw Legally Blonde The Musical in Oct 2010]

    66. Spend the night in a library [I did this in 2009 before I finished university]

    85. Hold a 50 pound note [I held a handful in, I think, 2009]

    94. See a famous painting in real life (e.g. Mona Lisa, Van Gogh’s Sunflowers) [I’ve seen several, check my blog posts!]

  2. 34. Do something for someone and don’t tell them [A couple of weeks ago I was sat at the bus stop when I found a school book bag, I looked inside, found the school it was for and took it back. I doubt the people who it belonged to will ever know who I am, or if someone even found the bag and took it to the school at all. Good deed, done.]
